4/13/2024 0 Comments Autocad hebrew fonts free downloadThanks for the input, yes, I definitely agree that Arial would work just as well and would prefer to use it but this one instance it's causing me a little bit of trouble, let me explain. Ive adapted from CAD and Im faster drawing 2d elements in Revit than I ever was in Cad, and things flex nicely now too when they inevetably change. Because round-tripping Autocad to Revit to Autocad is insane, and produced nothing but hot garbage. If you need to reuse a detail from an ancient project, import it, make it pretty in Revit, and then throw away the dwg.įind the person in your office who insists on still using AutoCAD and tie them to tree until they agree to use Revit instead. Spend the time converting your Cad library to Revit and dump lighter fluid on your Cad library and never use it again. Revit STILL BREAKS IT so it isn't consistent BETWEEN THE TWO PROGRAMS, so why bother fighting it? (width, etc) When you get text from imported dwgs, even if you use Arial 0.9 as a standard for both. ALT-177 etc Type in ALL CAPS, or use the text case converter (Revit features one for text fields now) Use Unicode characters and memorize your favorite unicode values. I don't know how many ancient dwgs Ive worked with where the stupid shx mapping to special characters broke, but every office had thier own mapping and every time it was wrong and fifteen years later Im still dealing with this drek. Why use Arial instead of some crazy Autocad Shx? Because it future proofs you. You shouldn't have licenscing issues if you use Arial, since it's included in Windows and is a nigh universal standard. Is it a truetype font? I can't find an image example of it, definitively, but I'd recommend changing to Arial, 0.9 width unless you positively need some fancy handwriting style font because someone important demands it as such.
